Thanks to a generous donation from The Rotary Club of Barrie and the Rotary Club of Barrie Charitable Foundation, Barrie Cares is now very close to meeting our $250,000 fundraising target for the former Paramedic building at 113 Tiffin Street.
This private capital campaign directly complements the County of Simcoe’s 113 Tiffin St. Bridge Housing initiative, which supports individuals living outdoors and in encampments by providing safe indoor accommodation and intensive, individualized supports to transition them into permanent housing.
The $250,000 raised will be used for essential facility renovations and enhancements, including a new HVAC system, a commercial kitchen, and dedicated clinical spaces.
